IT'S A SHAME DUELING HAS BEEN OUTLAWED

You are aware Carter himself said Obama didn't have the "proven substance or experience to be president" prior to the campaign? I posted the video this morning. That all of media didn't take time to check Carter's position on Obama before permitting the ex prez to emote, having seen racists behind every limb, tree and flower, says it all.

DEBATE OVER TEA PARTY PROTEST NUMBERS MASKS THE REAL HISTORY MADE

Many of the seniors are there because of the impact of HR 3200 on Medicare. If you actually read the legislation (as well as language in the "Recovery" bill), it's obvious where many of the cost-savings will originate. That's already happening btw--some items previously covered by Medicare are no longer covered, according to one individual who called me. The side rub: you can't collect social security unless you enroll in Medicare, a restriction I believe is unconstitutional.

I agree with you about the GOP. Based on what is happening in Florida, I've come to the conclusion of many. GOP leadership is rendering the party dem-lite. I do not believe the protests indicate support for a GOP platform because at the moment I do not see a GOP platform or a clear statesman/stateswoman speaking for the party.

Frankly I believe the current political climate provides great opportunity for the Libertarians.

TPM MUCKRAKER AND THINK PROGRESS SPREAD THE CRAPOLA

The left has no concept of individual freedom and responsibility. Our speaker of the House can give a crowd at an immigration rally the idea federal immigration laws mean nothing and high profile senators can dismiss responsibility for reading legislation they vote for. Statists approach the people as vassals, useful only for advancing the goals of the political entitlement class. Hypocrites all.

TENTH AMENDMENT MOVEMENT SURGES FORWARD

I wrote about this after Idaho joined more than 30 other states who've passed resolutions. Of course the neolibs will cry "racism!" But I think the movement to restore states' rights comprises a combination of issues--from matters such as strings for federal money (Obama just threatened to cut California off), to late term abortion and UN policies that (now that the Dems permitted it) allow taxes to be levied directly on US citizens for UN programs.

Intuitively I'd say the movement stemmed from the Ron Paul sector of the party and also from groups that have pushed this for years.

And it has nothing to do with racism. The federal government is the only obese entity neolibs love.

OLIVER WILLIS: IRRATIONAL CERTAINTY

By Willis' reasoning, what prompted someone like Phil Spector to [allegedly] kill the young woman in his mansion? He had a long history with guns and he surely doesn't strike me a conservative. How about the HuffPo writer who killed her lover and then took her own life? Liberals all.

If libs had any sense, they'd realize the real conspiracy is the left-wing conspiracy. Even outlets like Politico are beginning to admit there are strange situations around many of Obama's appointees' ties to the finance world.

I've always thought you could make a really fine left-wing conspiracy movie if for no other reason than that faction's creativity knows no bounds.

People kill people because they don't honor the sanctity of life. Period.
